CRAIG
After working in the Beer, Wine & Spirit department for Sainsburys around Tameside and Stockport I was keen to develop my knowledge of the industry so began work at Warehouse Wine Company, a home delivery service that was later bought by Laithwaites! Graham and I then went into business together setting up the Corks Out brand before branching out into the realm of wholesale. The new service we are offering has brought me back to my early passion of working directly with the public in the local area.

My interest in wine first sparked whilst working in the accounts department of G&J Greenalls back in the 80's. I furthered my career there for the next 2 decades before setting up the Warehouse Wine Company where I first met Craig. Using our combined knowledge and passion we have worked together over the last 18 years to create a personalised service through both wholesale and retail and now back to our roots offering a bespoke local home delivery service.

I began work in the hospitality industry at the age of 18 and was lucky enough to join the management team of a local restaurant in Marple Bridge, Stockport. It was here that I discovered my real passion for quality food and drink and where I first met Craig and Graham who were our wine supplier! When I became a dad it was time for me to free up my evenings and weekends so left the restaurant game to join The Local Wine Company in 2014.
